Basically, I'm going to try to follow this list in order with all of my work for the next while. I have a few WIPs that might break it up a bit, but other than that, I think I'll be able to keep fairly consistent. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish it though lol.

The Rules

1. Make 100 pictures, each pic having a theme listed below. Each picture should have ONE and only ONE theme to it for it to count.
2. There is no time limit.
3. The main picture should be drawn, but for all fair purposes, people are allowed to use their paint programs and photo programs to create the pictures.
4. The pictures should be of your own artistic ability. You may not edit photos or break any other rules set out in the DA etiquette policy. Your pics can be anything from sketches and doodles to great master pieces. Just have fun with it.
5. The list below is to be placed somewhere in your journal for others to see that you are in the challenge and what you have completed.
6. Make sure to update this list, check off what is finished, and link back to the picture.
7. In the comments for your art, note if it is part of the challenge and what ONE theme it is for.
8. Have fun!

I don't know if it helps, I've photographed some of my paintings. I put them on an easel or something in the sunlight, but angled out of the glare. It seems to help a lot with keeping colors true and the easel seems to help with glare. Good luck!

Yeah. I need to do that with a couple of my pastel pictures to get a better pic. The problem is that they're all framed now

With glass? If you can take the glass out, it shouldn't be any harder to photograph. Or maybe just turn the flash off on your camera and be careful how you position it in the sunshine. I haven't tried photographing framed pictures yet. Good luck!

Well, they had the one picture professionally framed, so I can't really take it out. I gave it to my cousin, so I can't take it out (that's the "On the Go" picture. I can take the other one out of the frame though since I framed it myself. It's just a matter of time/ambition.

Yeah. I just need to find ways to get better scans. On my pastels, I just need to get new photos, but my scanner has some settings that tend to slaughter prismas. I finally figured out how to turn those settings off, though, which really helped with my latest pic

(the wolf one).

Yeah. Most of the time my dad's scanner is really good, but every once in awhile it will just butcher the colors. Drives me nuts when that happens! Oh, well. I thought the wolf scan looked really good (surprise, surprise . . . )
